Engineers

We care passionately about the service we provide and all of our air conditioning and refrigeration systems are installed and maintained 24/7 by first-class, 2079 City & Guilds qualified engineers, who each hold construction industry recognised training (such as CSCS Skill Card, IPAF, PASMA and UKATA asbestos awareness training).

They are managed by fully-trained project managers. We work with carefully selected strategic partners to ensure a UK-wide installation and maintenance service.

Health and safety

We have a duty of care to ensure the health, safety and welfare of all employees and stakeholders.

This duty of care includes the provision and maintenance of all information, instruction, training and supervision as is necessary. We will ensure that we provide a safe working environment and engender a culture of safety throughout the site. To foster this environment and ethos, we display our Health and Safety statement at key locations on all sites.

We recognise that it is the duty of every employee to take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and other people who may be affected by their acts. We reinforce this belief through regular staff training, toolbox talks and internal safety audits of project sites, with non-conformance feedback and corrective action as required.

Our commitment to welfare, health and safety

We are Safe Contractor and Chas accredited, and implement our Health & Safety Policies and best practice in line with Safe Contractor recommendations.

We will ensure that all our operatives and approved subcontractors engaged on any of our sites will undertake an extensive induction. As part of this induction, they will receive instruction on site specific risks and the methods of safe working to be applied to each subcontractor discipline.

Method statements and risk assessments will be generated for each new installation and approved before work commences and referred to and updated via POW (point of work) risk assessments.

Service and installation engineers fill out an electronic Take 5 Health and Safety section prior to carrying out any new works and these are all documented.

All accidents and near misses will be recorded using our accident reporting system and reported where necessary to the HSE.

We endeavour to ensure our responsibilities and duty of care to our operatives, building users and third parties is at the forefront of the day-to-day running of the building services we offer.

We believe in a collaborative approach to Health and Safety whereby we engage with both our clients and supply chain to help identify risks. We feel that comprehensive involvement in the assessment and identification of risks are instrumental in devising safe working methods.

We are committed to achieving the highest standards of Health and Safety and will monitor it closely and review each month in our director board meetings.
